Don't be sad. That's it. The literal meaning of the above title. I've been called to read this book when I got hold of the Western famous motivational book, 'Secret'. After I read 'Secret', I've been struck with a curiosity about the Islamic version of the motivational piece. Therefore, i started to look for this la tahzan book at the college library. But, i couldn't find it. I hold the intention to read it since I was going to sit for final exam which was just around the corner.
After all the hectic moment during the semester, I got back home. It was such a surprise to see that this book, was on the shelf. I just grabbed it and intended to read it by hook or by crook. Right now, I'm in the middle of reading it. I've been half way through and another half of the book is on the way. i never thought that this Don't be sad book will be available at home. Besides this book, a whole lot of Dr. Tuah motivational series are also on the shelf. It seems like my mom enjoy reading his writing. It is such a simple title but leaves a deep impression. As I was reading this book i realise:-
1. There are so many things that you have to avoid and do in order to be happy.
2. You have to come back to fitrah or being a good Muslim in order to be blissful.
3. Praying to Allah is the best solution.
4. Think positive and always avoid feeling weak and laziness.
There are a whole lot more to be discovered. There are lots of evidences and supports from Quran and Hadith to back up all the sayings. After all, it's a true story. i definitely recommend this book to all. You never know that it really can change your life in a good way, Insya Allah.. :)

In the name of holidays...
Holidays for my family started when my sister had finished her SPM exam. We headed for KL and Melaka on Thurday morning. The long journey was not smooth. The road was full with holes due to heavy flood during the monsoon season. Pity my dad's car because not all holes were successfully avoided. Even more, it is very stressful for my dad as he had to slow down the car in case the holes are deep. One will never know that their cars can be seriously affected by the holes.
We arrived in KL in the evening and Melaka late at night. It was a tiring journey for all of us especially the driver, my dad. We reached my sister's condo after the uncertainty of the correct path to go there. With limited familiarity of Melaka, I can barely help. In the end, the locals are the best help you can get in the midst of not-knowing anything.
The next day, we went for house-hunting. It was for my practicum accomodation. Finally, we were able to find a house that is situated near the school with a fair rent. So, no more worries after this as the house matter has been settled.

The last examination
I've been called to write about my previous experience of having the last examination for my degree programme. Many unexpected things occur before I realise that they are all signs from Allah for me to abandon my wasteful activities such as surfing the net all day long and focus on my study. Since this will be my last struggle in exam and in this whole degree prog., I decided to concentrate on my it. Besides those signs, deep in my heart, I really wish that I could score the best in this final exam. I want to maintain my result so that i can further my master degree later on with full scholarship.
1) For the last semester having to learn in a class, I was unfortunate because I sat at the back. This is a rare incident because usually I manage to save myself the front sit but this time it's a no-no. I'm cool with that but a bit worried because I believe that once you are the back, you lose 50% of the information due to lack of attention and poor hearing.
2) I live with my housemates in a house by ourselves. There are lots of things need to be considered when living together. The cooking, washing dishes, cleaning and others need to be done since we live on our own and nobody is going to take care of you like we did at our parents' house, mom and siblings. Moreover, their feelings also need to taken care of. Do not want to live with enemies.
3) My laptop felt sick. I really made full use of my laptop and the broadband. But, considering how I shall manage my study with the internet 24-7, the laptop has done its best. I t felt sick.Though in the midst of having some more assignments to be done, i should be thankful because I cannot waste my time anymore and be more serious with my study.
After considering all the above signs, Allah has really tested me and I am doing my best to go through it and finally my result came out. Altough I did not manage to pull it off, I did quite well. Alhamdulillah..After all, I am satisfied with what I get and thanked my lecturers and friends for their dedications and cooperations to make everything possible.
By the way, as I am typing, my laptop is still at the hospital. I am praying that he's going to be fine and healthy soon because i can't wait to pick him up. I need to acknowledge my best friend, aimi Husna for letting me used her laptop when I need to finish my assignments. Kudos to her..Thank you..

Coming Soon...
It has been decided that I will be having my praticum (teaching pratices) in Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat, Alor Gajah, Melaka. This school is located near the AMJ highway. It has almost 400 students. For that matter, I shall report myself for duty on 18th January 2010 (Monday). I am lucky to have Aimi Husna as my partner thoughout the practicum session which is three months.
I am excited for the hands-on oppurtunity in school. But, I admit that there shall be a lot of challenges and new things to experience while I am in that school.I have had a first glimpse of the school and I can say that the challenge will be definitely different than my previous school where I had my school observation programme.
